The 8th annual Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will be hosted at Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria at 7 pm on Friday, January 22nd 2016.

 CAC Beardsley Community Farm is Knoxville’s only urban demonstration farm that helps get fresh, healthy, local food to Knoxville’s under-served communities.

 Snow Day will feature seven performances by a diverse group of local musicians, a soup contest between some of Knoxville’s finest restaurants, a Homegrown and Homemade Beard Pageant, and a silent auction.  So far, silent auction prizes include a 2 night stay at the Butterfly Gap Retreat, a 1 night stay in the King Suite at The Oliver Hotel, a CSA Half Share with Abbey Fields, one craniosacral therapy session with Dr. Natalie Kurylo, tickets to the Knoxville Zoo, tickets to see the Ice Bears, gift certificates to several local Knoxville businesses and so much more!

 More prizes are expected to be donated between now and January 22nd, and local artisans, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate in the large silent auction.

 Snow Day has become a very popular Knoxville tradition with over 800 attendees and support from over 100 local businesses in Knoxville. These businesses included several restaurants, local retail, and media outlets.  Snow Day is an important event for CAC Beardsley Community Farm that helps raise about 15% of the annual operating budget.Featured Musicians: Mic Harrison And The High Score, CrumbSnatchers, Old City Buskers, Roman Reese, Scruffy City Syncopators, Sunshine Station and Jon Whitlock Trio.

New Show!


Mic Harrison And The High Score will perform for the premiere edition of WDVX’s 6 O’Clock Swerve with host Wayne Bledsoe at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Scruffy City Hall, 32 Market Square. Admission: $5. The show starts promptly at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live at WDVX 89.9 FM, 102.9 FM in downtown Knoxville and 93.9 FM in Seymour and Seven Islands and simulcast at www.wdvx.com.

August Shows!

The summer is flying by and August is jam packed with some great shows at wonderful venues!
  • -August 22nd-  We’re honored to be a part of BLANKfest in downtown Knoxville, TN this year at Preservation Pub.  (A ten dollar wristband will get you in to each of the venues throughout the day and a $40 VIP package will be available for those who wish to have a more intimate experience).


  • -August 29th-  We’re heading up the highway to Greeneville, TN to the wonderful Capitol Theatre!  (Tickets $20  • 21+ • 8PM)
